Alena Smirnova

Alena graduated from American University in Dubai with Marketing Communication degree and has been living in the UAE and working with global advertising agencies and brands for the past 15 years. Starting her career as a Client Service and Project Management specialist, today Alena also fulfils the role of Business and Content Director with a passion for creativity, process optimization, and marketing excellence. Throughout her career, she has worked across categories in Real Estate, FMCG, Retail, Banking, Automotive, Governmental institutions, and lifestyle. Alena holds two B.A. Degrees, one being a Marketing Communications from American University in Dubai and the other in Management in Social Work from Russian Social State University. She was a proud AUD ambassador at Lynx Young Talent Awards, and is a member of winning teams across regional advertising industry awards such as Effie’s and Lynx.
